
The worst sandstorm this year blanketed Korea over the weekend, confining many indoors and causing difficulty breathing for thousands more. It was the sixth sandstorm this year. The number of visitors to mountains and parks around the country dropped to one-third of normal numbers, and stores had trouble meeting demand for dust masks. Pharmacies were crowded with patients complaining of sore throat and nose problems. And it's not over. Another sandstorm from China is forecast in a few days.
